Sports Day - 2019
Thursday, 24/10/2019 was POCA Wan Ho Kan Primary School’s Sports Day. It was a warm, sunny and happy day for our school. The anticipation and excitement were palpable as we boarded the buses and set out for our short journey to the Ching Yi Sportsground. Upon arrival, it took a few minutes for everyone to first find their seating place in the stadium and then, to get familiar with the whole facility. Of course, the greatest part was the participation in various sport activities such as the sixty-meter race, one hundred-meter race, long jump, high jump, softball throwing and the parents, children relay race.
Even those who didn’t win a medal found it easy to take part and all were in a terrific mood. It was just the perfect time and place to be running around, jumping and cheering classmates on the ground. The school’s Sports Day was mostly about participation, about having fun and being with friends, teachers and parents. It was like being a big family, enjoying our good life and the good weather. Sports Day 2019 was a day that we will never forget and for this we are very grateful!
It was our honour to have the World Record Holder of Rope Skipping, Mr.Pakhung Cheung as our guest. Thank you all for making that day a wonderful success!
