SPELLOWEEN Vs HALLOWEEN
Our primary 3 students celebrated Halloween with a variation.They did not dress up in scary costumes nor did they go trick -or- treat collecting candies.
Students of year 3 got into an 'Interclass Spelloween ' competition. Three students were nominated from each class to participate in the competition. They sat through 2 rounds of spelling activities - the first one was a team activity and the second one was individual. They were tested on the vocabulary they had learnt so far. Students participated with a fighting spirit and thoroughly enjoyed the activities. All participating students were awarded with certificates. It was indeed an inspiring activity for all students.
