Rules of Library

Entrance to library

1. To enter library, students need to wear proper and tidy uniform.

2. Please put personal items (school bags, stationeries, water bottles) on the shelf and you are not allowed to bring them along to the library)

 

 

Rules in the library

1. Students have to keep library clean and tidy.  No eating or drinking in the library

2. Keep calm and quiet and cannot talk loudly, play or run around in the library.

3. Be careful with the use of the books, newspaper, magazines in the library.

4. If there is any loss of books, please report to the librarian immediately.

 

 

Rules of borrow and renewal of books

1. Students have to use e-student card to borrow and return books.

2. You cannot lend your library card to others

3. Students can borrow 2 books with a period of 2 weeks.。

4. After you have borrowed books from the library, please pay attention to the due date of return at the back of the books and loan items should be before or by the due date.

5. Students can only renew the loan items once with a period of two week.

6. Students who take away any item in the library without finished the borrowed process will be treated as committing steeling.

7. Please do not deface any loan book otherwise librarian will suspend your right to borrow.

8. Teachers would warn those students who are always late at returning borrowed books.  If they keep on returning borrowed books late, their rights to borrow will be suspended by librarian.

 

 

Fine or damage

1. An overdue fine of 50 cents per each day will be imposed (excluding school holidays) on any book returned late.  Borrowers must pay the fine for all overdue loan items before they are allowed to borrow again.

2. If any damaged book or item is found, students have to inform librarian or prefects immediately for the necessary repair.

3. Students have to keep borrowed books under good conditions.   If there is any loss or damage, they have to compensate by either buying or paying the cost of the new replacement.
