Our School has introduced a Scholarship Plan to encourage students studying hard, excel in learning and develop multi-talented abilities. If your child has achieved distinct results in academic or non-academic areas under the following criteria, scholarship will be presented at the end of the school term with details as follows:
1. Most Outstanding Student Award
Students who are at No.1 to No. 3 places (the same grade the whole school term) will get a HKD500 Scholarship award.
2. Conduct Award
One place for each class for the whole school term, the winner will get a HK$100 book coupon.
3. Subject Award and Outstanding Progress Award
Two presentations for the whole term. Students who are at first three places in each subject and achieve outstanding progress award will each receive award certificates at the Prize Giving Ceremony.
4. Outstanding Service Award and Merits Award
Two presentations for the whole term. For those who are keen to help and serve in or outside the School and achieve distinct results and for one student in each class who has achieved remarkable improvement in conduct, can each receive an award certificate.
5. Awards (outside school)
Students can apply for scholarship if he/ she achieves distinct results in major competition either in Hong Kong or China, a merit point will be granted upon assessment by school.
6. Self-Challenge Award
Students are always encouraged to represent our School participating in various competition and we have observed that many top students achieve outstanding results in different open competition or tests. Those participants with outstanding results can apply for subsidies for the fees they have paid to the School.
7. Outstanding Attainment in Sports and Arts Award
Additionally, Outstanding Attainment in Sports and Arts Award has been established to encourage students participating actively in various sports /arts activities or program such as sports, music, visual arts, swimming competition and football competition program. Those participants with distinct results can get a HKD500 Special Scholarship Award.
Remarks: a. All winners must have good conduct.
b. All scholarship are to be sponsored by Po On Commercial Association and Parent-Teacher Association.
