Reading is a gateway to new ideas, perspectives, and worlds to be explored. In celebration of 4.23 World Book Day and Hong Kong Reading for All Day, Hong Kong Education City (EdCity) will host a 'Free eBook Week' to foster a 'Read and Share' culture among students. From 23 April to 29 April2024,, EdCity will offer free access over 3,000 eBooks on 'EdBookshelf', with the aim of inspiring students to delve into the enchanting literary world and cultivate wholesome reading habits, all without any cost or hassle.

How to Join:
During the week-long campaign, students simply need to log in to EdCity’s website using their school-based accounts to enjoy free access to over 3,000 top-notch eBooks provided by more than 40 local and international publishers. These captivating reads cover a wide range of genres, including humanities, history, geography, Chinese classics, modern literature, popular science, life encyclopaedias, and English books. Once the seven days have elapsed, the time-limited free books will automatically be marked as ‘expired’, without any additional action required from the students, and there will be no extra charges.
