J2 Cross-subjects Thematic Curriculum “My Community” has come to an end successfully.
In the past two weeks, all J2 students were out of school campus to learn more about the facilities provided in the nearby community. They have visited Tung Chung Public Library to to acquaint themselves with the library facilities and services provided and how to make full use of library resources for the purpose of lifelong learning. They have also visited Tung Chung Fire Station to learn about the daily work of firefighters and the uses of different firefighting tools. Students enjoyed the activities a lot and have a real-life experience about the things they learnt from book.
To express their gratitude to those who serve us in the community, students have written a Thank you card and gave them to the firefighters on the last day of the visit.
