Visiting the Hong Kong Palace Museum

2024/05/09

In order to allow students to explore Chinese history, culture, art and daily life through artifacts, our school arranged a visit to the Hong Kong Palace Museum for Primary 5 students. The museum’s exhibition covers a wide range of themes, showcasing over nine hundred precious treasures from China’s Palace Museum. Many of these items are being publicly displayed in Hong Kong for the first time. Students visited three galleries. The valuable pieces that they saw in the galleries widened their horizons.

This visit not only enhanced students’ understanding of China but also inspired students the importance of preserving national historical artifacts, so that the country’s culture and art can be passed down through generations.
